Looking For Inspiration? Use Us!
Most of us, if we’re honest with ourselves, would love to have a new kitchen or fitted bedroom, if only we had the money! We’re sure that you’ve probably got loads of ideas of what you’d ideally like to have; you’ve purchased several interior design magazines, you’ve set up a pin board on Pinterest, you’ve looked online at other kitchen and bedroom companies, but none of them seem to be quite right.
But don’t worry, because that’s exactly where PD Designs can come to the rescue. We’ve been designing and manufacturing the highest quality fitted kitchens and bedrooms in Lancashire for over two decades now, so we know a thing or two about getting these things right, and we can help you design the perfect room regardless of your budget or the raw materials available.
Gathering Your Thoughts
Often the hardest part of any new kitchen or bedroom project is knowing where to begin. The first step most of us take is to begin looking for inspiration; you might have an initial idea of what you want to achieve but you need to somehow get from that to actually making a start.
And whether you’ve already been doing this secretly for years (own up; we know about that secret scrapbook you’ve been hoarding!) or are completely new to it, the best place to start is the logical one; with magazines and the internet. These days, there are hundreds of architecture and interior design magazines out there who can provide you with lots of glossy images of super swanky kitchens and bedrooms for the uber posh. Most of these magazines have online editions or websites too – that’s in addition to the hundreds of extra interior design sites and blogs, of course, both by and for the professionals and amateurs – that you can access for free, meaning it’s now easier than ever to compile your ultimate kitchen or bedroom wish list.
Now, even without leaving your house, you can ogle over the latest design trends, the high-tech gadgetry and space-age appliances, this season’s must have colours and hundreds, if not billions, of clever labour and space-saving ideas to make your rooms just perfect. With all that at your fingertips, it’s easy to formulate your dream kitchen and bedroom and create an idealised impression of what you could have.
The Fly In The Ointment
There is one slight drawback to this entire world of choice and ideas, however, and that’s the sheer volume of it itself. There is simply so much to look at and choose from, and how do you know if any of it is even applicable to you?
How do you know if that gorgeous barn-conversion kitchen you’ve just seen photographed for a stylish, classy magazine is going to work in your mid-1950s family semi-detached? Can you really get all of those fancy techy appliances into your tiny studio-flat kitchen? How will wall-to-wall wardrobe doors work with your stone built farmhouse, that doesn’t have a straight wall in the place?
And, more importantly, just how am I going to find the time to wade through all of these blogs and articles to find the features and designs I actually like, rather than wasting hours of my life staring at hideous kitchens and bedrooms that just wouldn’t work for me?
PD Designs To The Rescue
Well fear not intrepid kitchen and bedroom explorers, because PD Designs is coming to the rescue!
For those of you who don’t have hours to waste scrolling the internet, our social media profiles can provide you with a wealth of inspiration and ideas without you even trying. If you follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Google+, you will be able to get daily articles and blog posts straight to your timeline, that provide a wealth of knowledge, designs and motivation curated especially for our customers (so it’s relevant to you, basically).
We’ll also tell you about our partner agencies, such as Neff, Sensio and Kindred, to let you know what the latest trends and additional extras are that would be available to you from them, just to help spread the love. Plus, of course, we’ll also let you know about all our latest special offers and discounts, so that you can find as many ways as possible of saving money on your new bedroom or kitchen project. Now aren’t we good to you?!
Come And See Us
Of course, once you’ve had a look at what is available out there in the world of kitchen and bedroom design, you’ll then need to figure out what is actually available to you in real life, and our own website is a great place to start. Across the two sections of our website – Kitchens and Bedrooms – we’ve got a whole range of different styles, designs, features and options to show you, all in lovely glossy photos with plenty of additional style ideas to help you plan your perfect room.
And if our virtual showroom isn’t enough for you, then why not pop along to our actual showroom in Nelson, near Burnley, where you can take an interactive look around a huge selection of fitted kitchen and fitted bedroom examples, to give you a flavour of what you could potentially have if you chose PD Designs as your next manufacturer and fitter.
Once you’ve had a good nosy, you’ll then be able to sit down with a real life human being and have an actual conversation about what you want and what you can realistically have. Our experienced team have been fitting kitchens and bedrooms in Lancashire for over 24 years now and we pride ourselves on doing exactly what the customer wants, plus everything we do is made from scratch by us, so it’s pretty much a case of ‘if you want it, you can have it’. We guarantee to always do our best to make sure you get the room you want, unless there’s a very good reason why you can’t have it, and then we’ll always tell you why and talk you through the alternative options.
